GETTING STARTED

    Step 1
  1. Read these full instructions before you begin.

  2. Buy a neti pot at the local drug store or on Amazon. Saline rinse is not required, tap water works fine. But you can buy saline packets or rinse to use or make your own saline (salt water) if you prefer. Using saline or salt does reduce the sting of tap water, which can be a little harsh in the deep sinuses, but it is not unbearable. I only use tap water.

  3. Buy a nasal relief spray - Must be 4-way in the red bottle by Bristol. You can get this over the counter at the local grocery or drug store or on Amazon. Other brands do not work - other users of this remedy have emailed me and told me this.

  4. Prepare the area at the kitchen or bathroom sink: have a towel nearby to wipe up with, this can be messy. Have a box of tissues or a handkerchief to blow your nose with (a lot). Set out your neti pot and read the instructions.
